What is the best value F1 race to watch? Meaning track quality - ticket price comparison.?
Me and some friends are thinking about watching an F1 race in Europe. We are living in Munich, Germany. It has to be in between the dates from May to end of July.

Does anybody know which would be the best value race? We are looking for good view seats for a reasonable price. I´ve seen that the tickets in Germany, for a decent spot, are quite expensive. Turkey is relatively cheap but that means buying a plane ticket, so it finally comes to the same price.

Any recommendations?

Thanks for your help!

Valentine's Day is coming up again. Do you have any plans to celebrate or do you think it's just all too commercial? If you are celebrating, what are you doing?

I've always lumped Valentine's Day in with Mothers and Fathers Days as a 'special day' created by clever florists and retailers and thinK it's very cynical. I also think it's a really hurtful day to be single and I hate that it makes people upset. So I have very rarely celebrated it with DH. (Despite my dislike for the day, I still manage to get jealous of other people getting flowers etc though!)

This year, however, DH has suggested we celebrate it (which makes me worry -) and I'm at a bit of a loss what to do.

Tell here something about your all time favorite movie because I want to know about your favorite movie.
My all time favorite movie is 300 and I have seen 300 movie about 14 times. In this film , in the Battle of Thermopylae of 480 BC an alliance of Greek city-states fought the invading Persian army in the mountain pass of Thermopylae. Vastly outnumbered, the Greeks held back the enemy in one of the most famous last stands of history. Persian King Xerxes lead a Army of well over 100,000 men to Greece and was confronted by 300 Spartans, 700 Thespians and other Slave soldiers. Xerxes waited for 10 days for King Leonidas to surrender or withdraw left with no options he moved. The battle lasted for about 3 days and after which all 300 Spartans were killed. The performance of Gerard Butler and Lena Headey in this film is excellent.

German driver Adrian Sutil said on Friday that the Mercedes-powered VJM3 will instead make its debut the week after the first Valencia action begins in early February.

Hello everyone!
I am a huge fan of Michael Schumacher. Michael Schumacher will race a new helmet livery to coincide with his return to formula one in 2010 with Mercedes GP.

The seven time world champion began his GP2 test at Jerez on Tuesday wearing his customary bright red livery, which had become synonymous with his successful career at Ferrari.

Some observers had expressed surprise that, although the Jerez-spec helmet featured a three-pointed star at the front, Schumacher did not elect to unveil a new colour-scheme for his Mercedes career.

But Bild reports that the helmet manufacturer Schuberth is currently building Schumacher's 2010-spec prototypes, and "in the meantime Schumi uses the model of 2009".

"The paint scheme is also (going) to change," the German newspaper added.

Prior to Schumacher's debut of the all-red colour scheme in 2000, at Benetton he won his first two world championships with a predominantly white and blue helmet design.

NASCAR was first born in 1949 when the Winston Cup series was made. There was a long line of stockcar champions waiting. In the later years of NASCAR when the champions began to come from stockcar racing the major champions of the time were Richard Petty and David Pearson. The two would change history of NASCAR forever. In the seventies there were many good racers but the one of the best of that time was Cale Yarlborough. He won four championships and racked up an outstanding total of seven hundred and seventy points. As the champions began to retire it brought in a new flow of drivers. The new drivers were Dale Earnhardt, Jeff Gordon, Bill Elliott, and Michael Waltrip. It was always a fight between them as to who would get the championship. The major champion of the eighty’s was Dale Earnhardt. The turn of the decade would bring a new champion to the mix. Jeff Gordon had been racing for awhile but with years of experience and a new race car he won many championships during the ninety’s. The turn of the century brought on many new racers. Bobby Labonte was a long time racer that was rising to the top. His brother Terry Labonte had been a two time champion in the eighty’s and the ninety’s. ..anyway ..here goes ..
I've spent some time deciding and chosen cars which I personally like and I believe this is my choices (..for now.! ...hopefully 100 cars here.!) Some cars you'll probably laugh at (ie: Mustang II cobra ...known for being pretty useless really ... but I've always liked it's looks ...so thats what i'm going on.!)...the majority of my cars are V8 Muscle or Supercars.! (can you imagine how much this garage full of cars would cost.!!)

Funny Jokes. :)

Life After Death
A boss asked one of his employees, "Do you believe in life after death?"
"Yes, sir," replied the new employee. "I thought you would," said the boss. "Yesterday after you left to go to your grandmother's funeral, she stopped in to see you!"

Support a Family
The prospective son-in-law was asked by his girl friend's father, "Son, can you support a family?"
"Well, no, sir," he replied. "I was just planning to support your daughter. The rest of you have to fend for yourselves."

The Water Pistol
My five year old son squealed with delight when he opened his birthday present from his grandmother. It was a water pistol. He promptly ran to the sink to fill it.

"Mom," I said. I'm surprised at you. "Don't you remember how we used to drive you crazy with water pistols?" My mom smiled and said, "Yes, I remember."
